K-12 Tutoring
Career Zones will test each student through a McGraw Hill developed diagnostic testing program. This program will test each student and measure their skills according to other students at the same age and grade-level nationwide. This diagnostic test will be analyzed to develop an improvement plan for each student.
Career Zones instructors will then develop lesson plans through McGraw Hill Passkey which provides content that is tuned into the state curriculum and specific tests, like ISTEP, that students must take through the school system. Each lesson will start with a pre-test and end with a post-test. Students will go through a series of learning exercises to master the necessary skills in that lesson. These pre and post tests will be monitored closely and parents will be provided a weekly report of the student's work. Tutors will use additional Career Zones tools to further assist students. Career Zones will also have additional learning tools for gifted students that are able to get through Passkey with ease. Students will be tested through McGraw Hill testing programs to assess their progress on a monthly basis. At the end of the 12 months, students will be given diagnostic tests for the next level to assess improvement in the previous 12 months and directions for the next 12 months.
